With each step we take in the Disney Princess Half Marathon Teagan's Mom & Dad will be thinking of how she wishes she could take just one.

Matt & Danielle are the busy parents of 4 year old Reese, 2 1/2 year old Teagan and almost 1 year old Morgan. When Teagan was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome last year we were devastated. As the reality of life with Rett set in two things became clear to us. A cure is so close! There is so much promising research, it is our obligation to support the amazing scientists working to cure our daughter. Secondly, we realized that we're in this for life. Teagan is going to need us around to take care of her for a very long time. As stressed out overweight thirtysomethings we quickly realized we needed to make some changes. When we read about Girl Power 2 Cure running the Disney Princess Half Marathon it all clicked! We are a few weeks in to our new life as runners, and so excited about the commitment we have made to support our little girl.
