Two dogs in our rescue need cruciate ligament surgery.
James is a 1 year old Pit Bull/Lab Mix who was rescued off the streets of Minneapolis. A few weeks after we placed James into a foster home, we noticed that he was not putting any weight on his back leg. After being cleared of any blood/tick born diseases, it was discovered that James had an injured cruciate ligament.
James is an amazing dog, and he absolutely adores anyone who gives him attention. We owe it to him, to not only find him an incredible home, but to help him to live pain free.
Pip prior to being adopted, it was discovered that she had a problem with her cruciate ligament. We worked with her adopters and ensured them that if she needed surgery, we would work with them to get her the care she needed.
Pip is an amazing dog, and has become an offical ambassador dog for SAVE-A-BULL! We owe it to her to help her to live a pain free life.
Cruciate surgery is very expesnsive, with an estimate of $2,000, but it is also a very important surgery for Pip, so she can live a pain-free, playful life.
