Creation Care: Environmental Initiative
A project of Lutheran Community Foundation
Help church congregations reduce their energy footprint and promote leadership within the Lutheran community to care for creation.
As an agent of change, the Lutheran Community Foundation works to address the environmental crisis -- a pressing and unmet need in our community. The focus of the initiative is to help church congregations reduce their energy footprint and promote leadership around creation care among pastors, laity and resident theologians within the Lutheran community, while engaging our donors around the concern of creation care.
Grants so far have funded two projects, Lutherans Restoring Creation and Engaging Lutheran Congregations through Sense of Place.
