Creating Inclusive and Welcoming Communities through Education

The Diversity Council's hallmark program is the Spark! workshops, which is a series of 13 workshops that help K-12 students recognize and stand up to prejudice and discrimination--in themselves and around them. We reach about 16,000 students each year with our message. The Diversity Council also offers diversity training to businesses and community groups and partners with many local organizations on projects that promote the value of diversity, one of our greatest assets.
