The Diversity Council's hallmark program is Spark!--Connecting People, Igniting Change. Spark! is a series of age-appropriate workshops that focus on increasing knowledge and understanding and building empathy and self-esteem for K-12 students in local schools. In the 2008-2009 school year, the Diversity Council reached over 17,500 students with Spark! workshops. Among other things, the Diversity Council also offers diversity training to businesses and organizations, community forums and presentations on diversity and inclusion issues, educational newsletters, a library of diversity-related videos, and a website that provides resources related to diversity and inclusion.
