COUNTRY CARES CONCERT JULY 22 BENEFITING THE GRANITE MOUNTAIN HOT SHOTS FIRE FIGHTERS. FEATURING DIERKS BENTLEY & THE BAND PERRY.

The New KMLE Country @107.9 will be hosting a benefit concert starring Grammy Award nominee and Academy of Country Music Award winner Dierks Bentley and The Band Perry at Tim’s Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, AZ on Monday, July 22nd raise funds for the families of the 19 fallen firefighters from Prescott Fire Department’s Granite Mountain Hotshots.

Proceeds from the concert will go to the United Phoenix Firefighters Charities who will distribute the proceeds of this show directly to the 19 families.

The Country Cares Concert is hoping to raise funds to assist these families.

The concert is being put on in partnership with Flagstaff radio station 92.9 KAFF Country.

KMLE Country @ 107.9 Program Director Tim Richards is optimistic that this concert will help.

“We hope this benefit concert gives everyone affected by this tragedy the opportunity to come together and heal,” said Tim. “We want to raise as much money as possible to help the families of these amazing heroes.”

Tickets to the concert will go on sale and can be purchased here on Friday July 12th, at 10am. The show is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM.

Dierks Bentley is the recipient of the 2009 CMT Music Awards “CMT Performance of the Year” for Country Boy, the 2004 CMT Music Awards winner for “Breakthrough Video of the Year,” 2004 Academy of Country Music Award winner for “Top New Artist,” the 2005 Country Music Association “Horizon Award” winner, and five time Grammy Award nominee.
