Cornerstone Academy, India

Cornerstone Academy of Manipur was opened in May of 2010 under the direction of Thangboi Haokip. Manipur is a city in north east India near the borders of Bangladesh, Nepal and Burma. Due to its location in the cross roads of so many cultures, religions and warring tribes this region of India is desperately poor. As a follower of Christ with a Christian worldview, Thangboi Haokip has founded the Cornerstone Academy of Manipur to educate poor young children in hopes that they will embrace Christ, become leaders, and break the cycle of poverty and violence.
