My name is Frank Masiello Jr., and I am a Police Officer with the Ashland Police Department. I have been a Police Officer for 7 years and previously worked at the MBTA Transit Police Department and the Wellesley Police Department. I currently live in Ashland with my wife and two children.

I have been lucky enough to never have cancer strike me or my wife and children. However, my wife and I have lost many family members to cancer. I have also had family and friends whose children have been stricken with cancer or leukemia. It is so sad to see a family fighting to keep their child alive and at the same time having to worry about the financial toll caused by missed work, medical bills, hospital stays, etc. Cops For Kids With Cancer helps families with financial aid and lets them keep their focus on getting their child better.

I have completed 2 Boston Marathons, and multiple other marathons and half marathons. Up until now, I was training and running only to finish. I am really happy to be a part of the Cops For Kids With Cancer Team. Now I know that when I run and finish, I am helping people who really need it.
