Did you also know that agricultural chemicals, hormones, and runoff from construction sites can end up in your drinking water every day? Did you also know that by restoring riverside forests that we can protect the river's water from this runoff? Join us in our fight to improve water quality! The Potomac Conservancy advocates for a clean Potomac River through safeguarding the lands and waters that support it while providing enriching educational and recreational opportunities for the residents of Alexandria, VA and surrounding areas. We are the voice of the Nation's River and with your help we can ensure that the lands near the rivers are protected, that future development is ecologically sustainable, and that there are pristine riverscapes for future generations to enjoy!
