COPS Walk 25 miles 2 days in honor of Sgt Michael W Johnson from the Vermont State Police EOW 6/15/2003

On June 15th, 2003 (Fathers Day) my brother-n-law Sgt Michael W Johnson was on his way to a sporting event when he was tragically killed in the line of duty. Michael left behind behind 3 children, his wife, his parents, his brothers, sisters, neices, nephews and many affected friends and co-workers. It has been 8 years, and to honor my brother-n-law I do the COPS Walk in Washington DC to help raise the funds for the counseling and support families need to rebuild their shattered lives. I will be walking the 25 miles again this year. This will be my 4th year participating and I urge you to show your support. Every penny counts even if only a small amount. Please help me put a smile back on a family's face.

    I support this cause because I believe that it only takes 1 person to make a difference.. Every day that officer goes out to protect my family, my brothers, my sisters, my parents, they keep us safe. The only way they can do that at ease is to know their family will be taken care of if they dont happen to make it home.
