ABOUT CHILDREN'S THEATRE COMPANY

Children's Theatre Company (CTC) has welcomed more than 10 million children, families, and school groups to our stages and classrooms over the past four decades. We are a nonprofit organization that relies on the support of our community to keep our curtains rising for future generations.

Most people don't realize that purchasing a ticket to a CTC production, or paying tuition for a Theatre Arts Training class, only covers 50% of our annual budget. Donations from our supporters account for the other half, allowing us to continue being the largest theatre for young people in the nation.

CTC donors play a major role in helping us:

* Guarantee access to everyone regardless of their financial situation. More than $1.5 million worth of free/reduced tickets are given to families and classrooms each season.

* Maintain a permanent acting company - CTC is one of the last theatres in the nation to have such a program.

* Create new work for young people - supporting the development of new productions for young audiences.

* Train tomorrow's theatre professionals by funding scholarships for our Theatre Arts Training classes.
