Catholic Parents OnLine Committed to Catholic Education

Catholic Parents OnLine has been continually striving to serve the religious educational needs of the Church at a time when many are discovering a serious lack of catecheses at all levels within the Church. Our efforts seek to provide information to Catholics about statements; teachings and activities taking place within the Catholic Church that are consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church. We are now known nationally and even internationally for the efforts that we have undertaken.

In October of last year, we released our dynamic new DVD based on the Vatican document, “The Truth and Meaning of Human Sexuality”, a DVD entitled, A Parent’s Guide: Teaching the Truth & Meaning of Human Sexuality. Since its release the distribution of the DVD has absolutely exceeded all of our expectation. It has been used by numerous conferences and recently was broadcast on EWTN. It has achieved international distribution. It is an effective tool for assisting parents and grandparents in raising their children with sound instruction in the area of chastity and morality. In the DVD, couples faithful to the Church’s teaching on this subject describe its application in real life.

For the past 6 months we’ve been working diligently on producing a Spanish version of our successful video, "A Parent's Guide: Teaching the Truth and Meaning of Human Sexuality". This is going to be an extremely valuable evangelization tool for the Hispanic communities and Latin America.

If you have checked our website, you will see that we continue to provide information about the religious education programs being used in the Archdiocese. We offer reviews pointing out good catechetical resources as well as exposing the ones to be avoided. This work continues to be gratefully received not only here but in distant parts of the nation.

This year we are embarking on an ambitious program. We will be creating the “Fundamentals of Catholicism” presentation for our award winning CPO cable TV program. The course will be given in segments over one year by Father Robert Altier who has made this instruction well known. This will be a blessed opportunity to reach thousands of fallen away or luke-warm Catholics by airing the “Fundamentals of Catholicism” on secular cable TV.
