The Isanti County Commission on Aging started the Cart to Cupboard program at the end of 2008. We provide deliveries (including groceries, prescriptions, frozen meals, postage, and library books to seniors (60+) living anywhere in Isanti County, MN. Similar programs exist in other areas of the state to serve people who wish to continue living independently but need a little extra support. Many of our customers are unable to drive safely or have medical conditions that make it difficult to leave their homes. We also work short-term with people recovering from an illness or injury, or with those who cannot get out in the winter, etc. Cart to Cupboard works to make sure no seniors fall through the cracks, and that everyone has access to the services and resources necessary to maintaining a high quality of life.
Cart to Cupboard's office is in the Senior Activity Center (332 3rd Ave NW, Cambridge MN 55008).
