This past year I decided to make the move to Kansas City in order to receive training and equipping for my life of ministry I have chosen to follow. The Lord has placed a calling on my heart for the youth. I see these kids growing up as the world is trying to convince them of lies in which they have to partake in in order to be happy. Our culture offers unrealistic expectations these kids feel like they have to meet, in which the Truth is Jesus states to "Come as you are." I want to help these kids find the truth about who they really are, and most of all, I want to help them as they develop a relationship with our awesome Creator. In doing this I have dedicated the next 30 months to partake in the MAP program (Ministry Apprenticeship Program). It is an alternative seminary program in which we are studying under those who have been in the field of ministry for many years. The Lord has grown me so much already and I can't wait to see who I become out of this. My prayer is that God would mold me into the leader He needs me to be so I can be as equipped as possible in making more disciples. Jesus says 'The harvest is plenty and the workers are few.' I'm just a worker finally ready to get my hands dirty. Thank you for helping me along this incredible journey!
