The CORE project was created to help teens living in foster care build relationship skills they need to navigate successfully to adulthood.

How many of you moved out of your parent's home only to find yourself moving back in after job changes, school changes or other changes experienced as people transition into adulthood? Teens living in foster care often lack these safety nets. Family Alternatives believes these teens need to "age" out of foster care with strong life skills but more importantly, relationships that will sustain throughout these critical transitions into adult living.

C.O.R.E. - Creating Ongoing Relationships Effectively, is a new initiative from Family Alternatives to help teens develop skills to build and sustain the necessary relationship supports they need to move through their transitions and realize their life dreams effectively....alongside people they can depend on "no matter what".
