Leo and I began taking bicycle trips in 1988. Since then we have traveled by bike at least once every year. The sights, sounds and smells we have experienced while pedalling on routes designated by Adventure Cycling maps have been unforgettable. Best of all, we have met people from small U.S. towns and from all over the world as we travel through this wonderful country. Wouldn't it be wonderful if there was a network of safe, bike-friendly routes to cross America?
