Building character, families and faith through sports

Sandra was a tough girl with an angry outlook. Known for her quick temper, she had been moved to the last chance school in the district, the one for difficult cases. But she wanted to play soccer (perhaps to get out that anger). Through her soccer coach, she heard about how Christ loves her. By the end of the year, she began to smile, and she won an award for the most improved in her school. Though she is still in high school, she is now a soccer coach and referee for younger children, working hard in school, and wants to be a teacher some day. When asked what happened, she says "God changed me!"

We strive to create opportunities just like this for all the children and youth in our programs, opportunities to be active in a healthy and safe way, to develop families, and to hear about Christ's love from caring adults.
