Catalyst Coalition

Here is our story! There has been a remnant of youth workers who have consistently been praying and God is answering. This is the most amazing thing I have seen in my 34 years of youth ministry and you can be part of it.

It began with a couple of students with a vision from a high School in Blaine, MN. They connected with students from different churches and youth ministries. By doing this, they developed a core group of students to start a Catalyst Group at their school. The mission was simple: to let Christ be the catalyst in their life and school. These students began to connect with student leaders from other schools through social media and various conferences to develop the Catalyst Coalition.

Over the last seven months, the Catalyst Coalition has accomplished the following:

• Catalyst Coalition Facebook page and website
• Developed a PR Video
• Organized and lead five peer-to-peer trainings and online trainings
• Wrote a 78-page “Movement Manual”
• Developed weekly Teaching Curriculums and Teaching Videos
• 15 Catalyst Groups have been started in the northern suburbs, and another group of 14 faith clubs have been formed in the southern suburbs. These groups are growing across the region as leaders connect with the vision.
• Launching a weekly radio program on Mondays at 10 am on Hope 95.9 FM (beginning November 7, 2011)

Can you say WOW? Not too bad for 16 and 17 year olds with a little support from Allies and WCN.
