Dear Friends and Family,

This year I am going to be traveling to Guyana on my fourth and final Builders Beyond Borders service trip. Builders Beyond Borders is an organization that allows high school students to travel the world and immerse themselves in an environment filled with inspiration, care, and a desire to help.

Guyana is a striking country but it has been struggling for several years. The unemployment is at a disturbing 50%, and 43% of the country is under the poverty line. However, my team will set our goals to make a difference in their community.

On March 9th we will be traveling to an area called Festival City, named for its cultural roots to one of the most famous festivals. This city is in need of a place for the community to unite for meetings, medical clinics, cultural events, job training, and even school classes. My team will be working with Habitat for Humanity through B3 to make this community center possible.

In order for me to be able to go on this trip, I need to raise $2,650. This is where it is possible for you to assist me. If you feel as though the cause means something to you and you would like to donate, your help would be very much appreciated. If you would like to donate, you can either donate on the website, or send a check made out to Builders Beyond Borders to the address given below. Thanks again, and I will be sure to post pictures and let you know how the trip went.
