Bridges of Hope International Network

We at Bridges of Hope support a multitude of on-the-ground development projects, that focus on the central areas of education, health care, and local economic development. All of these projects work on developing indigenous talent and leadership and the ultimate goal is to see these groups take over these projects. A major initiative is our child sponsorship program. As one of our core efforts, this project sees the sponsorship of children in some of the poorest countries of the poor, where the funds provide food clothing, medical assistance and education for an orphaned or vulnerable child and go towards the improvement of the community in which that child lives. This is one of the most powerful and meaningful ways to truly help children in desperate circumstances. We are fundraising for these projects because we believe every child and adult is precious and worthy of dignity. Every one deserves a chance to succeed in life and our projects emphasize our connection to each other. Our focus on indigenous-led initiatives demonstrates our belief that projects that involve and nurture local talent and effort are the ones that stand the best chance of being embraced by local populations and stand the test of time.
