A Story of Life

“I love you so much,” he started. “You’re my princess, my beautiful granddaughter. I will always love you.” These are the words my Grandad said just before he told me my Dad had taken his own life.

My life after that moment changed forever. My family was ripped apart. I didn’t want to live another day without him. The pain was consuming, debilitating, horrific. I didn’t think I’d ever be able to rebuild my life, to live another day.

But I did.

And today I am at peace. I am happy again. I am also totally devoted to helping others find peace and happiness again. I did it; I know others can too.

$ 1,000 will allow us to facilitate our summer Teen Advisory Board
$ 5,000 would underwrite the cost of a full year of Static’s innovative curriculum
