Today kids spend less time playing and being outdoors than ever. Playworks brings trained play coaches into schools to help students and teachers organize playtime games and activities. The result is a more inclusive, more educational, safer recess time.

Why am I involved? I believe in play. My children are given opportunities to run and play every single day, rain or shine. They're are out-jumping and out-climbing kids three times their age. They're already swimming. And we do a ton of hiking! By the time they go to kindergarten, they will both have completed a Presidential traverse in New Hampshire's White Mountains.

With more playtime and time spent outdoors, kids can do amazing things. Keep playing!
