Hey, it's my birthday again! For the last couple years, I've been telling my friends to not get me any gifts for my birthday, as I would much prefer that they spend the money on a donation to my favorite charity, The Trevor Project, the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ youth.

Last year, my awesome friends donated $1,800 and I matched $700 of those donations. This year I'm upping the ante: I will match the first $2,500 of your donations. That's right, people: if you collectively donate $2,500, the Trevor Project will get a $5,000 check (and you will truly make this the best birthday I could wish for).

NOTE: My birthday was on November 4th and, on that day, we got $1,178 in donations! (i.e., $2,356 for the Trevor Project when you include my matching donation). I'm keeping the fundraiser open for a month, to allow more people to donate. Let's make it to the $2,500 goal, people!
