I will be running the 2012 Boston Marathon in memory of my sister, Angela, and raising money for Kupenda for the Children.
No one has had a more profound effect on my life than my sister, Angela. She was born in 1975 with Cerebral Palsy and, despite severe limitations, she was extremely joyful. Because of this, she was able to impact those she met.
Angie danced into eternity on New Year’s Eve, 2010. She is now living up to the name that many of us affectionately called her – Boogie.
The last gift I gave Boogie was a donation to Kupenda for the Children in her name. She loved giving gifts and it seemed especially appropriate to give it to children that she could relate to. That’s why I’m so excited to be raising money for that organization in her name.
