Bringing the gospel to an unreached illiterate people group in Mozambique July 2013
Taking God's Word to the Illiterate Church
This summer in July 2012, a missionary team from Summit will be joining Missionaries Luke and Kristen Rider to bring Talking Bibles to the unreached/illiterate people groups in the country of Mozambique Africa. By joining Luke and Kristen Rider and Cross Connection Outreach we will help speak up for the silent voices of this world who can't read...but can hear. Faith comes by hearing. Our goal is to place one more tribe and language around the throne of God. Rev. 5:9-
Revelation 5:9 (NIV) 9 …“You are worthy… with your blood you purchased for God
persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.”
We will co-labor with Cross Connection Outreach to be a part of aiding 1 Billion illiterate people HEAR The Bible and receive an AIDS education message by The Audio Bible. Romans 10:17 says "faith comes by hearing" and a 1/4 of the world needs an Audio Bible to HEAR that message. A solar powered book shaped Mp3 player with an audio recording of the New Testament plus HIV/AIDS education is the answer to sharing truth to illiterate countries.
Our team will carry suitcases of audio Bibles to distribute in partnership with schools, churches, and organizations in Mozambique. Our team will engage in street evangelism, praying for the sick, and seeing the miraculous released. Our team will work with indigenous churches to make sure that the souls that are won to the Lord are followed up with the discipleship of the local body of Christ in each region.
