A free library serving the Vermont communities of Addison, Ferrisburgh, Panton, Vergennes and Waltham.
Bixby offers traditional library services as well as around-the-clock Wi-Fi, patron computers, downloadable audio and e-books and educational and cultural programming for adults and children. Recent outreach programs have included theatrical presentations to area elementary schools and adult book discussions aboard a boat on Lake Champlain. The library houses an excellent collection of Vermont books as well as area historical documents and genealogical resources. The Bixby Museum Room showcases a notable selection of native American artifacts from the Addison County area and midwest United States. Bixby believes in lifelong learning and aspires to preserving the culture of our five-town area as well as offering up-to-date technology for patrons and relevant programming for adults, teens and children.
