"INSPIRE" Capital Campaign to support The All-American Boys Chorus artistic vision and mission.
In 2013 The All American Boys Chorus celebrates 43 years of meeting the need for developing creative and dynamic young leaders. The AABC board of directors is anxious to deploy our new strategic plan supporting our vision of becoming America’s preeminent boys choral program. Working with noted arts impresario Michael Kaiser, CEO of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, our team of board and staff members is working to implement an artistic vision that includes a focus on the magic and beauty of young men’s voices singing in four part harmonies; developing a 3-year curriculum for our music reading program; expanding the chorus’ repertoire to include current as well as classic American music; introducing a graduate chorus so choristers can continue their vocal training and performance opportunities through high school; and broadening our community outreach--all highlighted by the launch of our new state-of-the-art website.
Our investment in these new programs will be funded through our $200,000 "INSPIRE" capital campaign. As we embark on this creative process we’re reaching out to friends and community partners to participate in this exciting journey in support of our efforts and good work in our community.
