Bid for Change - "Inspiring Girls, Transforming Our World"

Dear Friends,

Happy New Year! I hope that you and your family are well. I am fundraising for an organization called 4Girls Glocal Leadership (4GGL), a bold organization uplifting girls in gender- repressed societies as a- powerful lever to accelerate critical change needed in our world. As a U.S. based nonprofit, our mission is to ignite, develop and promote girls’ leadership locally in poor communities to advance gender equity globally.

4GGL and I believe empowering girls in gender repressed societies is a powerful force for change. Furthermore, we believe leadership development is the foundation of and an effective tool to empowerment, and this powerful tool must be accessible to the girls.

I personally believe that empowerment is a powerful tool that can transform our world. Empowerment is a seed in individuals' hearts that can spread from person to person, community to community, and be the foundation for the world's development.

I would like to invite you all to participate in “Bid for Change – Inspiring Girls, Transforming Our World!”

This is an art auction with a twist. I am “auctioning” two of my paintings. The highest “bidders” (donors) will receive the painting(s) of your choice (+ shipping fees). In short, I am open to all ranges of monetary donations.

Painting 1 – Reflection – This painting is a response to the short story A Small Place by Jamaica Kincaid.

Painting 2 – For Life – this painting is dedicated to all life givers. Open for interpretation. If you have any questions please feel free to leave a comment.

For those who are serious about buying the painting(s), I would like to ask that you bid at least $60 for Painting 1 – Reflection and $150 for Painting 2 – For Life. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for shipping and handling fees.

Each “Bid” is an investment in some of the World’s Poorest Girls – a gift for our world.
