The Beta Rho Chapter of Delta Gamma gives its sincerest thanks and gratitude to our supportive group of alumnae in DC and NOVA!
Since 1936, Delta Gamma chapters around the country have held philanthropy events dedicated to supporting our National Philanthropic cause of Sight Conservation and Aid to Blind, now titled Service for Sight. At the George Washington University, the Beta Rho chapter holds an annual philanthropy in the spring called Anchor Bowl contributing 100% of donations to the National Foundation programs. Along with Service for Sight, all proceeds from Anchor Bowl will support The Golden Anchor Program, which seeks to support, enjoy the company of and bring joy to Delta Gammas and other senior citizens throughout the country. Proceeds will also support the success of collegiate women through scholarships and allocations of grant money to national Delta Gamma programs.
Delta Gamma Anchor Bowl at the George Washington University will take place the week of April 24, 2012. Anchor Bowl will bring together the sisters of Delta Gamma with the GW Greek community to compete in events designed to raise awareness and donations for our National foundation. (Not to mention we always have a lot of fun!)
