Concerns of Police Survivors or C.O.P.S

MAy 10th- 12th 2010 close to 240 law enforcement officers biked 250 miles from Chesapeake Va, to the Pentagon in Wahington DC in an effort to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives in the line of duty. I was fortunate and privileged enough to be able to participate in this outstanding event. To say I was honored would be an understatement. I can't describe the feeling I got when people came outside of their homes, places of business, and shopping centers to clap, wave, and cheer us on as we rode by. The sight on May 12th of Deputies in Stafford County standing on an overpass saluting as we rode under them in the early morning light is indescribable. After riding that many miles in three days, the sight of all those who took time out of their day to come see us, made me want to keep riding all day for as many days as I can.
