The Alta Mira Flores community is an impoverished community of 30,000 people living in the outskirts of San Salvador, El Salvador. Doctors and Dentists are areas of specialty in El Salvador and most people cannot afford to see them, meaning that many people have never received any type of medical care.

In January 2012, TIH took its first medical team to El Salvador seeing and treating approximately 500 patients in a 5 day medical/dental clinic. In July 2013, TIH is returning to Alta Mira Flores to provide follow up care to these patients and run another medical/dental clinic to the people living in this community.

A small team from Bellaire UMC is traveling to El Salvador with Together in Hope to assist with the medical mission.

We are raising 3,000 for a dentist to come on our mission trip to provide much needed dentalo care to the community, Please give what you can so we can give this community the health care they need.
