**WISH GRANTED** MS3 - 1st Grade - Baby Chicks Project

The neighborhood and options first grade classes will be incubating and hatching chicken eggs in their classrooms and then will observe and care for the baby chicks for 1-2 weeks. This project addresses ISBE science and CPS family life standards for first grade. The care and feeding of the eggs/chicks will not only teach the students about scientific observation and the life-cycle but also, working together and the excitement of watching a baby chick being born! This is a favorite project among the students at Bell.
