I am raising $500 to support Day One's work to reduce the rate of substance abuse in Maine youth and race in the Beach to Beacon 10K on August 6th, 2011. Day One is this year's Beach to Beacon race beneficiary. Day One's programs address youth substance abuse issues through prevention, intervention, treatment and aftercare. They provide training and education, assessment, screening, referrals and treatment for individuals, families, schools and communities throughout Maine. Please help support both this great program and me in my first 10K!
