Day One provides a valuable service to the youth of Maine who struggle with substance abuse issues.

For the last several years I have searched for the motivation to run in the Beach to Beacon road race. Although running has been a part of my life for over 30 years, I have not run a 10K in quite some time. Supporting the good and valuable work of the people of Day One is the motivation I needed to train for this race. Day One is the leading non-profit in Maine that supports teens and young adults struggling with supstance abuse issues. I hope all of you will support me and Day One.
