If it hadn't been for my grandparents, my own family would have used a food shelf when I was a kid. I was blessed to have them to turn to when I was in need. Please be that someone - for someone else in need. I challenged my friend Cheryl to "Be the CHANGE!!!" Well, Cheryl, I'm walking my talk. You can be the CHANGE too.

    It is difficult to believe how many people are hungry in the United States. We try to alleviate the problem in our own small way, with donations.

    I am so thankful for Second Harvest Heartland. You are feeding so many people. Thank you for letting us help. I am so grateful that the big box retailers are sending there close to out date foods. 4.9 million pounds of food is huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck on receiving your food certification! We are praying for you.
