Auto Technical provides free refurbished vehicles to low income families who are transitioning from welfare to work.
Auto Technical provides vehicles to family who are struggling to attain self sufficiency. In addition to our family car program ATI provides training in auto mechanics for low income and limited English speaking adults. ATI also provides car care classes for families so they can learn how to trouble shoot problems, learn to check fluids and hoses and become knowledgable consumers to keep their vehicles roadworthy. The greatest predictor of success for low income working families is reliable transportation.
A donation to ATI helps a student begin building a tool box or provides transportation coupons to attend classes. The average cost to refurbish a vehicle is $750. A donation helps us purchase the necessary parts to refurbish these vehicles. ATI is self supporting and receives no state or federal grants. Since 1994 ATI has provided thousands of cars to families who can now say they are working and self sufficient. Give a family a second chance to build a good life for themselves and build a stronger community. Learn More at our website www.AutoTechnical.Com
