6,161. That's how many dogs and cats were killed last year at our city shelter. Austin, we can do better! Making Austin a no kill city is achievable, but we need the support of the whole community. Here's how you can help:

• Adopt a Dog or Cat
• Foster a Dog or Cat
• Volunteer
• Help us get a building
• Post our flyer
• Use GoodSearch or GoodShop
• Follow us on MySpace, Facebook or Twitter

APA acted immediately and ran that operation like a machine the night of the Basrop fires and have continued to do so. Thank you so much for saving all of those furbabies, as you always do...but I am impressed with the action plan you executed in a natural disaster of epic proportions! You are amazing!
