In Israel, about 350,000 youth are considered "at-risk." 1/3 of yotuh in the Bay Area live in poverty.

I am currently part of the Leadership Council of the Marin/SF Jewish Teen Foundation Board. This board consists of 22 9th-12th graders on a mission to help others. This year, our mission statement is to provide at-risk youth in the Bay Area and Israel with tools to improve their lives, socially and academically. As a group, we will fundraise and select non-profits to donate to.

Last year, our board raised $51,000. This year, we are trying to surpass this figure and raise $54,000! I am donating $100 to this great cause. Will you please join me in my effort to change lives locally and in Israel? Any donation is greatly appreciated.

    Helping at-risk youth is an excellent cause. I am glad this money will go to programs that mitigate the risk of youth becoming homeless and helping them avoid drugs or prostitution. Good luck Emily and team.
