The organization's mission is to help poor children, women and the elderly in Bolivia and foster Bolivian culture in the nation’s capital.
The Association of Bolivian Women of the Washington DC Metropolitan Area (ABW) comprises a Board of Directors and its membership. The Board meets once a month to discuss new initiatives, review requests, and plan fundraising events.
The Board of Directors manages the ABW's financial and in-kind contributions; forwards donations to its beneficiaries; collects fees from its members, and organizes it's fundraising activities.
The AWB is a volunteer organization with no paid employees. All donations go to support it's goals.
