This year I was chosen to be a member of the East Bay Jewish Community Teen Foundation (EBJCTF) board. The EBJCTF is a non profit foundation run by a group of 23 volenteer teens, and an adult advisor, all who raise and donate money to both Jewish and Non-Jewish orginizations locally, in israel, and throughout the world. Using consensus we created our mission statement and decide which projects we will support. Our mission statemnt is to "fund orginizations that provide rehabilitation for poeple affected by violent conflict in israel and Africa through medical care, psycological services, and educational opportunities that promote self sufficiency."
