ARFhouse Chicago recently rescued two mothers and their ten newborn puppies. Our Puppy Shower will help get these babies ready for adoption!

In April, ARFhouse Chicago added two new dogs to our shelter. Or so we thought...

First came Marshmallow. This fluffy white Shih Tzu mix was found as a stray on the streets of Chicago... and she had a secret! Just days after being rescued, she surprised everyone by giving birth to 4 adorable polka-dotted puppies.

And then we met Mimosa. This loving terrier mix with warm brown eyes was thrown out onto the street by owners tired of caring for her... and her six newborn puppies.

Our volunteers are taking great care of these little families, providing Marshmallow and Mimosa with safe, loving foster homes where they can raise healthy babies. Now you can help! Join our Virtual Puppy Shower to furnish some of the essentials they'll need—from healthy food, to their first vaccinations—until they grow up and find their forever families!

ARFhouse Chicago is a 100% volunteer-run, no-kill shelter with a mission to reduce the euthanasia rate and homeless pet population. Learn more about us and meet our adoptable animals at
