Mathew Janczewski’s ARENA DANCES is housed at the Cowles Center for Dance & the Performing Arts and tours nationally and internationally.

• Stage two concerts each year in Minneapolis (fall and spring): ARENA will stage new works and pieces from the repertory in concerts at the new Cowles Center for Dance & the Performing Arts, most recently; November 4+5, 2011 and next March 2+3, 2012.

• The ARENA Dance Residency program at Twin Cities schools: Janczewski and the ARENA company go into residency for the entire school day for a full week at 1-3 schools. ARENA works with students to create their own dance which is performed for their school and in an ARENA FREE Friday matinee concert. With this program, ARENA provides an easy and enormously fun way for students to learn the history, mathematics and geology of dance, though classroom instruction, physical experience, and observation of a professional company at work.

• Provide access for students to attend ARENA concerts at FREE FRIDAY matinees. We will also provide busing for the students.

• INstinct Intensives: Janczewski and the ARENA company members teach a 1-week intensive in January and a 2-week intensive workshop in June for college students, adults and young professional dancers.
