After traveling to Ethiopia in August 2012, I fell in love with traveling and the movement to help people in foreign countries. I met people completely unlike me or anybody in America, yet they wanted to know me and be my friend more than anybody I've ever met. I feel really called to help people wherever I can, in whatever ways possible. I'd love to travel to Iraqi Kurdistan to not only help the people there, but share my story back home to encourage others to do the same. This trip can influence everybody directly involved by our travel, but can indirectly change lives in many other places. Our actions in Kurdistan can shed a spotlight on the hundreds of missions all over the world, and hopefully inspire others to help people in need. A mission is a movement, and we will do our best to keep it moving forward.
