Anodyne is an organization for and by artists with and without disabilities, your contribution will support continued diversity in the arts.
Our Mission: To Inspire All Through a High Level of Teaching, Mentoring and Artistic Expression
Anodyne Artist Company is a visual and performing arts center focused on supporting artists with disabilities. Although we are often defined by our differences, the focus of Anodyne is our commonality: Art. Anodyne’s creative direction is generated by the artists’ goals and objectives. Through the support of professional instructing artists, creativity, discovery and development of process are nurtured in a safe and encouraging environment.
In 1999 Anodyne incorporated and was awarded its 501(c) 3 status. In 2000, Anodyne moved into a large warehouse located in St. Paul’s midway arts corridor. Since 2001, Anodyne has grown to support more than 75 artists. Anodyne has a professional theatre company, which offers productions at least three times a year and a large gallery where visual artists display and sell their work.
