Ann's Hope Foundation raises funds for melanoma research. The foundation has supported clinical trials and research at Medical College of Wisconsin, St. Luke's Medical Center, and UW-Comprehensive Cancer Center. All the proceeds go directly to melanoma research. The foundation works to raise awareness and educate the community about the dangers of melanoma and other skin cancers. The organization is run strictly by volunteers and all money donated goes directly to the cause. At the end of 2009, Ann's Hope Foundation has been able to give $425,000 in research grants.

Ann's Hope Foundation was formed in 2005 in loving memory of two founders family members; Ann Harrington's brother (Craig Harasha), and Anne Frentzel's father (Richard Cibula).
The two women hoped by sharing their loved ones stories and raising funds to find a cure for melanoma that others would find hope in a future where someday a cure for late stage melanoma will be found. The foundation raises funds through their annual events, The Block Melanoma 5k Run and 3k Walk held every May, an annual Gala, and Toast to a Cure, a wine tasting event. The organization has become a place of support for people affected by the disease, and every event has a memorial and/or honorary survivor. The Block Melanoma Run and Walk is a place where survivors can come together and those who have lost loved ones can remember them. It is through these events the Ann's Hope family has grown.
