Rocky is a beautiful Retriever, Husky mix who was abandoned in a locked house with two other dogs for five days with no food, no water, and no outside access. Local law enforcement officials kicked in the door to rescue Rocky and his two other companions and brought all three dogs to Prairie's Edge Humane Society. After being examined by a local veterinarian and given some TLC in the shelter by our staff of dedicated employees and volunteers, Rocky is now ready to go to his forever home with an adopter. Even though Rocky was treated horribly by his former owner, he is still a very playful, smart, beautiful dog who loves to spend time with people. Rocky is waiting to share his unconditional love with anyone who will adopt him.
