Angie fundraising for 2012 Wediko Marathon Team

I am training for the 2012 Boston Marathon® as a member of the Wediko Marathon team. This team is committed to raising money for children and families struggling with emotional, behavioral, & learning issues. Running a marathon, even the Boston Marathon, pales in comparison to the challenges so many children and their families will face this year.

Wediko Children’s Services provides support and guidance to both staff and students throughout New England. School-based services include clinical and program consultation, individual and family therapy, Side by Side Social Skills groups, and professional development for school staff. The work and support of Wediko makes a real difference in the lives of so many. But like all non-profits, fiscal uncertainty is a reality every year. The Wediko Marathon Team supports these invaluable services.
