Andrew and Tiffany Harris honoring JEB

In the Fall of 2009, Andy ran the Free Press Marathon in support of our great friend, Jackie Bayley, who was then recently diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. Over the past two plus years, Jackie courageously battled the disease, undergoing endless appointments with her oncologist and multiple rounds of chemotherapy. Throughout her treatment, Jackie displayed unthinkable courage and optimism, hoping and praying that her treatment would work and that her cancer would go into remission so she could go on with the rest of her life. Tragically, Jackie’s battle ended on August 27, 2011, when she passed away at the age of 34 with her loving husband, Andrew, at her side.

Jackie’s friends and family are mourning the loss of a spectacular woman who truly lived life to the fullest. Jackie was an intelligent, talented, high-energy, warm-hearted and humorous woman who injected her powerful spirit into anyone she met. All those who knew and loved Jackie miss her tremendously.

Tiffany and I are again raising money for Ovarian Cancer research through our participation in the 2011 Detroit Free Press marathon. Please help us honor Jackie’s memory and help to prevent other special women from falling victim to this virulent disease by making a donation to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
