I am supporting this cause for several resaons. Besides being an avid runner and the significance of the Boston Marathon, I would like the chance to contribute to the Michael Lisnow Respite Center doing something I enjoy.

I have been lucky in life to have the strong support of friends and business partners in the past raising funds for our local Terry Fox run and hope I could continue this pattern for the Center. EMC has supported many of our local Canadian charities and I consider it an honor to be able reciprocate the generous help.

I also coach the junior public school cross country team in a small town in Ontario called Buckhorn and I believe participating in this even will also encourage the Buckhorn team to set new challenges and goals while maintain a healthy lifestyle.
