I began running in mid-2008. A few months into in, I found out I was pregnant and had to stop, per doctor's orders. While pregnant, I had the nagging feeling that I had to complete what I had set out to do and signed up for my 1st half marathon. I completed it in Caleb's honor in 2010.

Since then, I have ran 3 1/2 marathons and 1 full marathon, among other races. I've decided to run another full marathon with Caleb's Crusade again this coming WDW marathon weekend.

It didn't take much to convince me to do it. Yes, it's hard. But I don't ever want to hear the words, "Your child has cancer." I don't ever want to have any of my friends hear those words.

Awareness is key. Funds are key. And if I can help, then I will.

Yes, the economy isn't the best, but unfortunately, cancer isn't going to go away just because of the economy. If you can donate, any amount is helpful and goes to our cause.
