We are raising funds to go on a mission trip to Vietnam with our church, Alamo Community Church this coming March.
Why Vietnam? Why Now?
During the past year our eyes have been opened to the needs in Vietnam. We have been challenged through book studies (Radical by David Platt and Crazy Love by Francis Chan) and sermons to stretch our sphere of influence across borders.
We believe that God is leading us towards international missions. This trip to Vietnam is a big step in the right direction for us to fulfill this burning desire we have to serve our neighbors around the world and to spread God's love.
On this specific trip to Vietnam, we will be building two dormitory rooms to house overnight students at Thai Gang Pho school in the Bac Ha provence of Nortern Vietnam. We will also be connecting with the students through planned activities, crafts, and sports.
Ashley has taken on a leadership role in preparing and leading the lessons and craft activities the team will be doing with the children. Josh will be actively involved with the sports activities and the dormitory project.
Your contributions are tax-deductible! And, they will make this mission opportunity turn into a reality for us. Thank you for being willing to read our story and think about giving towards this amazing opportunity to serve the people of Vietnam.
